Privacy policy

Last updated: 19 September 2026 · Leyka is in private beta, so this policy is short on purpose.

What we collect

Only what you type into the beta sign-up form:

• your name and city (the city is used to time reminders to your timezone);
• your email address;
• how many plants you have (a range: 1–3, 4–10 or 10+);
• the language you were viewing the site in, and the time you gave your consent;
• a salted hash of your IP address, kept only to deal with abuse of the form. We cannot read your IP address back from it.

Why we collect it

To put you on the waiting list for the Leyka beta and to email you when your access opens. If you ticked the consent box, we may also send reminders and announcements about Leyka's contests and live streams. We do not use the data for anything else.

Who sees it

Only the Leyka team. We do not sell your data, do not share it with advertisers, and do not use third-party trackers or analytics on this site. The site sets no cookies; your language choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, on your device only.

How long we keep it

Until the beta ends or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

You can remove yourself from the list at any time — enter the email address you signed up with and we will delete your entry:
